If you are suffering from back, hip, knee, ankle and foot pain it may be an issue with the mechanics of your feet during walking and/or running.
A biomechanical assessment can help identify the root cause of the problem. The podiatrist will assess your strength and mobility and observe your gait during walking and/or running.
The podiatrist will formulate a treatment plan which may involve stretches, strengthening work, change of footwear and can work in conjunction with a physiotherapist.
Bespoke insoles/orthotics can be provided for your particular condition/issue or concern.
Managing foot health is crucial for individuals with diabetes. At Pen Llŷn Podiatry, we offer diabetic foot assessments and ongoing care to prevent complications. The podiatrist can offer patient education on essential foot care practices and how to check your feet to spot any changes which can help ensure your feet remain healthy.
